Trainer & Walker
Furry Frolics founder, Ellie Turner, is a true animal enthusiast whose passion is in developing bonds between humans and their canine companions through positive training.
Although much of her focus is now on one-to-one and group training, Ellie also still enjoys getting stuck into the day to day dog walking.
She says "I love watching humans have those light bulb moments with their dogs in training, but I don't think I'll ever give up dog walking completely- I feel very lucky to have such a strong bond with so many dogs."
Ellie is a full member of the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers, The Pet Professional Guild, and NarpsUK, and is Pet First Aid certified. She holds 2 x OCN Level II qualifications in Dog Training & Behaviour and is currently studying for a Diploma in Canine Behaviour with the International School of Canine Psychology.
Kim joined the team in 2016 as a training assistant after training her dog Bella and getting "the bug". As well as assisting at classes, Kim is also an invaluable member of the team behind the scenes and is responsible for kit & merchandise.
Kim says, "When I first got Bella I knew next to nothing about training, but from shadowing Ellie and studying alongside it, I have fallen in love with dogs even more, and I really enjoy helping people interact and have fun with their dogs"
Alongside her practical experience Kim is also studying the science of dog training and is actively participating in CPD.
Proud owner of five dogs, Billie has many years of training experience under her belt, and first joined the Furry Frolics team as an Agility Trainer. Since then, Billie's role has expanded to include assisting at Puppy Classes- after attending three Furry Frolics courses with her own dogs, she wasn't ready to give it up!
Billie says "I wanted to become a dog trainer to help others develop their dogs into well rounded, happy pets. You can do so much to shape a puppy's future and I want to help people unlock that potential"
Billie has started her academic journey to becoming a qualified dog trainer, and attends regular courses and seminars.
